About the Role

Join a dedicated team of professionals who deliver quality, value, and access in 21st-century healthcare. As a Mammography Technologist Trainee, you will complete specialized training and become a full-time mammography technologist with RadNet, contributing to better clinical outcomes for patients, providers, payors, and regulators.

Responsibilities

  • Complete a 40-hour initial Mammography Training Course Webinar (including 8 hours of digital mammography training, reimbursed by RadNet).
  • Complete 8 hours of training in Tomosynthesis (reimbursed by RadNet).
  • Receive hands-on mammography training in preparation for the ARRT mammography registry.
  • Pass the required Mammography Licensing Exam and become a full-time mammography technologist upon certification.
  • Participate in projects, meetings, and other tasks as assigned by management.
  • Safeguard onsite medications in accordance with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
  • Demonstrate respect for company property, including cash and patient financial information.
  • Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers, respecting boundaries and cultural sensitivities.
  • Interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, families, and the public in a clinical setting.
  • Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with colleagues.

Requirements

  • Current State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology and ARRT (R) certification.
  • BLS certification issued through the American Heart Association.
  • Interest and ability to learn advanced radiology procedures such as Tomosynthesis, biopsies, and other specialized techniques.
  • Resilience, adaptability, and compassion, with a calm and professional demeanor to support patients during exams.
  • Quick thinking and ability to take appropriate action in emergent situations.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and respect for patients, guests, and colleagues.
  • Structured work approach with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Pay

$50–$65 per hour.
