The Mammography Technologist plays a crucial role in ensuring high-quality diagnostic imaging. This includes performing both routine and complex mammographic procedures under the guidance of a Radiologist. The position involves accurately setting up and adjusting equipment to optimize performance and ensuring precise patient positioning for specialized examinations.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex mammographic procedures
• Accurately calculate and select appropriate technical factors to ensure optimal equipment performance
• Precisely position patients for specialized examinations
• Work closely with the Radiologist to support early detection and compassionate care
• Maintain safety and clinical excellence in all procedures

Requirements

• Post-primary certification in Mammography
• ARRT examination and continued certification within one year
• Mammography experience required
• BLS Certification with annual renewal

Qualifications

• Must have passed or be eligible for post-primary certification in Mammography
• Must have passed the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) examination and remain in good standing
• Mammography experience required
• BLS Certification with annual renewal

Schedule

40 hours weekly from 7 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday - Friday with a Saturday rotation (call is required)
