About the role

Under site-designated leadership and according to established policies and procedures, performs accurate and efficient mammography exams using appropriate imaging equipment, independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. Technologists must demonstrate strong clinical skills and provide the best possible images for interpretation while adhering to Corewell Health’s philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree
• Graduate of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Accredited Radiography program
• 1 year of relevant experience
• 1–3 years’ experience beyond staff radiographer level
• CRT-Radiographer (R) – ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) – required upon hire
• CRT-Mammography (M) – ARRT – required within 1 year
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA (American Heart Association) or ARC (American Red Cross) – required upon hire
