Mammography Technologist - PRN

About the Role

We are seeking a PRN Mammography Technologist to join our Breast Center team. In this role, you will perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including digital mammography, ultrasound, biopsy, MRI, and bone density scans.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and equipment for diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Perform imaging studies independently and in various clinical settings.
• Ensure quality control and adherence to imaging standards.
• Support diagnostic and treatment needs of patients.
• Conduct diagnostic imaging while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Maintain equipment quality standards.

Requirements

• Associate degree or Trade School education in a relevant field.
• Valid licenses and certifications (e.g., RTR, CT, MR, BD).
• Preferred experience of less than 2 years in a related role.
• Additional certifications such as CPR and IV Therapy are advantageous.

Skills

• Ability to perform advanced imaging procedures (mammography, ultrasound, biopsy, MRI, bone density scans).
• Strong patient preparation and care skills.
• Proficiency in operating and maintaining imaging equipment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

This role does not require weekend, holiday, or on-call responsibilities.
