Mammography Technologist Practice Based

About the role

We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist specializing in mammography to perform imaging procedures such as X-ray and DEXA, ensuring high-quality images and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate competence across patient age groups
• Maintain patient confidentiality
• Adhere to safety and infection control policies
• Practice aseptic techniques
• Assist during biopsies
• Review patient information
• Conduct QA/QC tests
• Accurately document procedures
• Apply knowledge of ACR/MQSA standards, proper positioning, and technical factors

Requirements

• Associate degree
• Certified as a Mammographer and Radiology Technologist (ARRT)
• BLS certification
• Sound judgment and basic computer skills
• Effective communication
• Physical requirements and background screenings apply
