About the role
Seeking a Mammography Technologist – Diagnostic Radiology to perform screening mammography procedures in a high-volume outpatient setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Producing high-quality radiographic images while providing compassionate patient interaction
- Performing quality control activities in compliance with MQSA and FDA standards
- Utilizing general radiography skills for diagnostic exams if required
- Participating in professional development and mandatory training, including a 48-hour mammography course
Qualifications and Skills
- Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program meeting ARRT registry requirements
- Washington Radiologic Technologist certification upon hire
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography and Mammography (within 1 year)
- Prior general radiography experience may be required depending on location
Preferred Qualifications
- Two years of full-time mammography experience
