Mammography Technologist (Per Diem)

About the role

Seeking a Mammography Technologist – Diagnostic Radiology to perform screening mammography procedures in a high-volume outpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Producing high-quality radiographic images while providing compassionate patient interaction
• Performing quality control activities in compliance with MQSA and FDA standards
• Utilizing general radiography skills for diagnostic exams if required
• Participating in professional development and mandatory training, including a 48-hour mammography course

Qualifications and Skills

• Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program meeting ARRT registry requirements
• Washington Radiologic Technologist certification upon hire
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography and Mammography (within 1 year)
• Prior general radiography experience may be required depending on location

Preferred Qualifications

• Two years of full-time mammography experience
