This full-time position is located at our Mesquite, TX center, recognized as a Center of Excellence for four consecutive years with a patient satisfaction score of 94% or higher.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM, with one required Saturday per month (7:00 AM–12:00 PM).

Responsibilities

  • Operate x-ray equipment and perform a variety of mammography-related diagnostic procedures with a high degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure technique.
  • Promote and demonstrate the Solis Way in all interactions.
  • Practice excellent mammography positioning and exposure technique.
  • Communicate procedures effectively to patients and educate women about the role of regular mammography in preventative breast health.
  • Communicate clearly with doctors, patients, and colleagues on an individual and small-group basis.
  • Follow detailed written or oral instructions to perform tasks.
  • Maintain a patient-first focus and exhibit outstanding customer service skills.
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned, including diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies (preferred).

Requirements

  • Completion of a formal radiologic technology training program and current ARRT certification in Radiography.
  • ARRT advanced-level certification in mammography with documented clinical experience, or MQSA-qualified and (M) registry eligible.
  • Current on all required continuing education and continuing experience as mandated by MQSA and ARRT.
  • High school diploma; associate degree preferred.
  • Non-restricted licensure in the state of work location.
  • Knowledge of database software and RIS/PACS software is preferred.
  • Two years of experience in mammography is preferred.
  • Prior quality control experience preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend medical terminology.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
