Mammography Technologist - Part Time

About the role

We are seeking a Mammography Technologist responsible for providing high-quality mammography services in accordance with physician orders and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Preparing imaging rooms
• Operating radiological equipment
• Developing and evaluating films
• Ensuring patient comfort and safety
• Verifying patient information and maintaining confidentiality
• Adhering to all regulatory guidelines such as MQSA/ACR
• Educating patients
• Managing contrast media
• Maintaining accurate digital records
• Prioritizing patient and staff safety by following radiation safety protocols and performing quality assurance checks

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (Washington)
• Basic Life Support certification
• State-specific mammography certification

Preferred Experience

At least one year of experience in mammography is preferred.
