This role requires a skilled Radiologic Technologist specializing in Mammography, responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures with independence and precision. Key Responsibilities Include Providing safe, age-appropriate patient care and obtaining high-quality diagnostic images.Preparing and positioning patients, operating imaging equipment safely, and adjusting techniques for optimal results.Ensuring proper patient identification, adhering to sterile techniques, and maintaining patient privacy and comfort.Responding to emergency situations and evaluating patient conditions for safety.Participating in quality control, equipment maintenance, and documentation per accreditation standards.Educating patients about procedures, addressing questions, and supporting departmental training.Supporting operational tasks like stocking supplies, transporting patients, and performing clerical duties. Qualifications And Skills Include Accredited Radiologic Technology program completion and ARRT-Mammography, ARRT-Radiography, and BLS certifications.At least one year of radiologic technologist experience, with Mammography experience preferred.Excellent communication, customer service, and the ability to work independently and under pressure.Strong knowledge of anatomy, pathology, radiation safety, and equipment operation.Detail-oriented with multitasking skills and adherence to policies and protocols.
