This role involves providing diagnostic imaging services with a focus on patient care, safety, and quality. Responsibilities include: performing a variety of technical procedures independently, preparing equipment, and positioning patients accurately. Ensuring patient safety, privacy, and comfort, while responding to emergencies and addressing patient concerns. Maintaining equipment, adhering to infection control standards, and producing high-quality images with a first-time acceptance rate of 95%. Communicating clearly with patients and staff, explaining procedures, and documenting thoroughly. Supporting department operations by restocking supplies, transporting patients, and assisting with clerical tasks. Participating in quality control, regulatory compliance, and staff training. Qualifications include: an accredited radiologic technology program, ARRT-M and ARRT-R certifications, BLS certification, and a minimum of 1 year of radiologic experience, preferably in Mammography. Skills required: excellent communication, customer service, attention to detail, ability to work independently and under pressure, and a thorough understanding of anatomy, pathology, and radiation safety. The role emphasizes teamwork, professionalism, and adherence to policies to ensure optimal patient outcomes and departmental efficiency.
