Mammography Technologist (Part-Time)

Seeking a Radiologic Technologist with Mammography certification to perform diagnostic imaging procedures in a healthcare setting. Provide safe, age-appropriate patient care by performing a variety of technical procedures with independent judgment and ingenuity.Set up and operate imaging equipment, position patients, and ensure high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining equipment and adhering to safety standards.Obtain comprehensive clinical histories, verify patient identity, and review images for acceptability, responding to emergency situations as needed.Explain procedures to patients, address concerns, and ensure privacy and comfort, using effective communication skills.Participate in quality control, maintain documentation, and ensure compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards.Assist in training department staff, support operational tasks like stocking supplies, and transport patients.Maintain required certifications (ARRT-Mammography, ARRT-Radiography, BLS), with a minimum of one year of radiologic and mammography experience preferred.Exhibit excellent communication, customer service, multitasking, and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently under pressure.
