Mammography Technologist Lead

About the Role

Leads mammography team members by demonstrating advanced knowledge of job responsibilities, providing coaching, monitoring performance, and promoting teamwork in a fast-paced, collaborative healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervises performance, productivity, and quality management of team members.
• Coordinates services, prioritizes workflow, and supports decision-making and problem solving.
• Performs complex tasks and guides staff on handling novel issues.
• Oversees equipment quality control, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Works independently with critical thinking skills.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Registered as a Technologist (RT) and certified in mammography (M) by ARRT.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association or Red Cross, valid through sixty days of hire.
