Mammography Technologist Lead

About the role

Leads a mammography team by demonstrating advanced knowledge of job responsibilities, providing coaching, performance evaluation, and promoting teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and evaluates team performance in productivity and quality, serving as a positive role model.
• Coordinates services, prioritizes workflow, and supports situational decision-making and problem-solving.
• Performs core job duties and guides team on complex issues.
• Oversees equipment quality control, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Works independently with critical thinking skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Registered as a Technologist (RT) and certified in mammography (M) by ARRT.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or Red Cross, valid through sixty days of hire.
