Mammography Technologist II

About the Role

The role involves performing high-quality mammography, ultrasound, biopsy procedures, and Bone Density scans in accordance with American College of Radiology (ACR) standards, for interpretation by physicians.

The role requires initiative, ingenuity, and the ability to work independently, with a focus on quality imaging and patient support.

Responsibilities

• Conduct mammography, ultrasound, biopsy, and Bone Density imaging with technical proficiency.
• Maintain high standards of patient care and customer service in a fast-paced outpatient setting.
• Provide support for outreach sites as needed.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum of two years of independent mammography experience.
• Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in mammography.
• Licensure by the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or Red Cross.
• Proficiency in advanced modality skills with flexibility to rotate between modalities.
