Mammography Technologist I-Full Time-Day-Bellevue

Job Summary

Provide mammography services to patients in accordance with physicians' orders. Prepare mammography rooms and diagnostic equipment. Perform high-quality testing, operating equipment according to prescribed safety standards, and develop films.

Essential Responsibilities

• Diagnostic Testing: Performs mammography images through clinical protocols, positions patients, develops films, evaluates images, and provides patient education.
• Computer System: Ensures accurate patient information is entered into the departmental computer system.
• Customer Service: Provides timely, responsive, expert services to customers, including patients, physicians, and other employees.
• Patient and Employee Safety: Maintains safe radiation levels, performs equipment checks, identifies allergies, and assists with first aid as necessary.
• Regulatory: Adheres to MQSA and other regulations related to mammography.

Experience

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certified Radiologic Technologist (Washington) required at hire.
• Basic Life Support required at hire.

Additional Requirements

• Communication, problem-solving skills, and consistent excellent customer service.
• State of Washington certification as Mammography Technologist and AART-M registration by date of hire or will train radiology technician with two (2) years experience.

Pay

$42.42 - $71.13 / hour. Actual base pay determined at offer will be based on labor market data, internal alignment, and a candidate's years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, and geographic location.
