About the role
We are seeking a Mammography Technologist to provide high-quality imaging services in compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare mammography rooms and operate diagnostic equipment
- Develop films and evaluate image quality
- Educate patients and address concerns
- Verify procedures by reviewing physician orders and prior reports
- Enter accurate data into computer systems to ensure efficient workflow
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, physicians, and staff while maintaining strict confidentiality
- Maintain radiation safety and perform quality assurance activities
- Adhere to regulatory standards such as MQSA and OSHA policies
- Observe patient conditions during procedures, respond to contrast reactions, and assist with first aid if needed
- Collaborate with the team, communicate effectively, solve problems, and maintain a patient-focused approach
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Washington radiologic technologist certification
- BLS certification
Preferred qualifications
- At least one year of mammography experience
