Mammography Technologist I

About the role

We are seeking a Mammography Technologist to provide high-quality imaging services in compliance with safety standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare mammography rooms and operate diagnostic equipment
• Develop films and evaluate image quality
• Educate patients and address concerns
• Verify procedures by reviewing physician orders and prior reports
• Enter accurate data into computer systems to ensure efficient workflow
• Provide excellent customer service to patients, physicians, and staff while maintaining strict confidentiality
• Maintain radiation safety and perform quality assurance activities
• Adhere to regulatory standards such as MQSA and OSHA policies
• Observe patient conditions during procedures, respond to contrast reactions, and assist with first aid if needed
• Collaborate with the team, communicate effectively, solve problems, and maintain a patient-focused approach

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Washington radiologic technologist certification
• BLS certification

Preferred qualifications

• At least one year of mammography experience
