Mammography Technologist I

About the Role

The Mammography Technologist performs mammography procedures under the guidance of Radiologists and the Radiology Director, ensuring compliance with ACR, TDH, MQSA, and state regulations. They operate advanced imaging equipment, maintain quality assurance, ensure regulatory adherence, prepare survey documentation, and deliver expert patient care across diverse demographics.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography procedures accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure patient care tailored to all demographics.
• Assist in survey preparations and competency assessments.
• Perform additional duties as needed.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited A.R.R.T. program with documented mammography training.
• At least one year of mammography experience; diagnostic radiology experience preferred.
• Current ARRT registration and mammography certification (ARRT-M).
• Licensed as a radiologic technologist by SCRQSA.
• CPR certification required.
