Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of tasks involving the operation of mammographic equipment and other devices, adhering to established company policies and protocols.
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images in a timely manner while providing excellent patient care.
- Understand and use compression, exposure modes, filter, KvP, Mas, grid selection, focal spot size, AEC selection, photo cell selection, and other equipment adjustments to produce high-quality images.
- Monitor patients’ well-being during exams; recognize patient discomfort or medical problems and take appropriate action.
- Guide patients through the exam process by explaining steps, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
- Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
- Demonstrate competency in safeguarding patient property and Patient Health Information.
- Safeguard on-site medications in accordance with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
- Demonstrate respect for company property, including cash and patient financial information.
- Exhibit and maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
- Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
- Interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.
- Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.
Requirements
- Genuine passion for patient care and the ability to exercise sound judgment while remaining professional in all situations.
- Effective and professional communication, interpersonal skills, and respect for patients, guests, and colleagues.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, prioritize work with a structured approach, and solve complex problems.
- ARRT(R)(M) certification.
- State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology.
- BLS certification.
- At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred.

$38.00–$47.00 per hour
