About the role
The role of a Mammography Technologist involves performing diagnostic mammography procedures with expertise, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Responsibilities
- Execute mammograms based on physician orders or screening guidelines.
- Apply knowledge of exposure factors, imaging techniques, and patient care.
- Operate imaging equipment while maintaining quality standards.
- Provide compassionate patient interactions.
Qualifications
- Graduate of a certified Radiologic Technology program.
- Current state licensure in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology.
- ARRT registration in Radiology and Mammography to meet MQSA standards.
- Proficiency in mammography and general radiology; experience preferred.
- Keyboard skills and electronic system navigation.
