  Job Summary And Qualifications

  • Current California Certified Radiologic Technologist.
  • Current California Mammography Certificate.
  • BCLS Required.
  • Knowledge of diagnostic principles and procedures as well as operation and maintenance of radiologic equipment as acquired through satisfactory completion of an accredited radiologic technology training program.

  Qualifications

  • Under the direction of the Department Manager and according to department policies and procedures, operates mammographic and ultrasound equipment in order to obtain images of designated areas.
  • May perform or assist physicians in carrying out more complex examinations and assisting in sterile procedures.
  • Must follow all MQSA guidelines and maintain current licensure and appropriate CE credits.
  • Serves as a resource person to other radiologic technologists and support staff in resolution of work-related problems and coordinating patient flow.
