About the role

Mammography Technologist positions are available at Saint Joseph Medical Center - Joliet. This role is open to new graduates and those with advanced certification in mammography.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality mammography imaging using advanced technology.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-focused care in a supportive environment.
• Work closely with Radiologists to provide accurate diagnostic images.
• Guide patients through sensitive exams with empathy and professionalism.
• Maintain imaging quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Support quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
• Aid in addressing complex patient and family concerns with strong communication skills.
• Create a positive, efficient, and patient-centered imaging experience.

Requirements

• Licensure and/or fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
• Current ARRT certification.
• Advanced certification in the field of Mammography.
• Current experience as a radiology technologist.
• Strong verbal, written, and communication skills.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certification.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Federal, State and Local regulatory standards.
• Ability to travel to all imaging facilities both regularly and without notice.
• Experience in Hospital Information Services (HIS)/Radiology Information System (RIS).

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
• Experience: Minimum of one year of relevant work experience.

• Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay

Starting Salary: $31.44 - $45.54 per hour (Estimated Weekly $1,257.60 - $1,821.6)
