Responsibilities

• Perform mammography scans using specialized equipment.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures.
• Position patients correctly for optimal imaging results.
• Operate X-ray and other medical imaging equipment.
• Collaborate with radiologists to provide diagnostic evaluation of mammograms.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.
• Provide patient education regarding the mammography process.

Requirements

• Valid certification as a Mammography Technologist.
• Proficient in performing mammography scans and interpreting results.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to mammography.
• Familiarity with other imaging modalities such as CT, PET scan, and X-ray.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including emergency room settings.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in image capture and documentation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and healthcare professionals.

Pay

$55–$65 an hour.
