About the role
The Imaging Department at Piedmont Henry Hospital offers a dynamic work environment with state-of-the-art equipment and a supportive team. It includes various roles such as X-ray Techs, CT Techs, MRI Techs, Ultrasound Techs, Mammography Techs, Interventional Radiology Techs, OR X-ray Techs, Unit Secretaries, Transporters, RNs, PAs, and Radiologists.
Responsibilities
- Performs specialized examinations of the breast to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease.
- Operates mammographic radiographic equipment and other relevant devices.
- Demonstrates competence in performing advanced breast imaging procedures like stereotactic and MRI biopsies.
- Provides complex technical care to meet individual patient needs.
Requirements
- Graduate from an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program or a JRCERT-accredited hospital-based training program.
- At least 2 years of experience.
- Registered Technologist (R) certification from ARDMS or ARRT.
- Mammography (M) certification from ARDMS or ARRT.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
Qualifications
Must be licensed to practice in the state of Georgia.
