Position Overview:
We are seeking attorneys who are barred in both New York and New Jersey, with a strong preference for those who have hands-on litigation and trial experience in New Jersey. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a high-caliber team on complex medical malpractice and professional liability cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a full caseload of complex insurance defense matters from inception through trial
- Conduct depositions, hearings, mediations, and court conferences
- Draft pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, and trial strategy
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Mentor junior attorneys and contribute to recruiting and business development efforts
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Barred in both New York and New Jersey (REQUIRED)
- 2+ years of experience in insurance defense, medical malpractice, or general liability litigation
- Strong litigation and case management skills, including deposition and courtroom experience
- Experience litigating in New Jersey state and/or federal courts highly preferred
