Malibu Electronics Maintenance Technician

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Fix and maintain equipment daily, which would include but not be limited to:
• Solving production equipment issues or building maintenance repairs after hours.
• Having general knowledge of building maintenance issues such as electrical, HVAC, plumbing, lighting, air compressors, and hoses.
• Knowing how to operate Wire cut, seal, termination, and splice machines.
• Having basic mechanical knowledge, including changing oil and troubleshooting issues with fleet trucks and cars.
• Analyzing information from teammates and customers and providing a rational solution to the problem.
• Being able to cross-train in all areas of the maintenance department.
• Other duties may be assigned.

• Knowledge of CNC machines is desired but not mandatory.
• Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general degree (GED).
• Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret schematics.
• Mental Skills: Basic Math Reasoning Ability.
• Physical Demands: Continuous sitting, frequent standing, occasional walking, and driving. Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs., pushing/pulling, fine manipulation, bending, squatting, climbing ladders/stairs, kneeling, reaching above shoulder, and working in all weather conditions.
• Work Environment: Exposed to all weather conditions, typical 10-hour workday with overtime without notice.
