Make Up Artist

As a Makeup Artist, you'll have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of our clients and help them look and feel their best. We're looking for an individual with strong cosmetic knowledge and creative skills to create a memorable experience for our clients. This position requires a high level of customer service and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate should be able to take direction and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide makeup application services and makeup lessons that meet company standards
• Responsible for achieving service and sales goals set by management
• Uphold all California state laws for safety and sanitation
• Ensure the counter, shelves, and gondolas are customer-ready throughout the business day
• Keep product stocked throughout the day and maintain optimal inventory levels
• Perform stock counts, ensure proper rotation, and timely replenishment
• Place orders, unpack, and count orders
• Establish strong client relationships by actively listening to their needs and offering personalized recommendations
• Assist customers with questions or requests
• Ensure wax and makeup stations are sanitized and stocked throughout the day
• Wax and air conditioning off at the end of the day
• Uphold high standards of counter hygiene by regularly cleaning display units, tools, and testers

Requirements

• Minimum of four years of experience in the cosmetics industry
• Strong understanding of beauty trends and passion for makeup
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and possess strong organizational skills
• Comfortable using a variety of makeup products
• Expert knowledge of the Golden Ratio Eyebrow shaping method and appropriate use of ABH products
• Cosmetology license required
• High level of customer service and excellent communication skills
• Ability to take direction and work independently
• Positive and collaborative attitude
• Adhere to dress code guidelines

Schedule

• Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
• 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Location: ABH Salon in Beverly Hills, CA

Pay

Starting base salary is $16.90 hourly plus commission and tips. Compensation may vary depending on qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and geographical location.
