Make-Ready Technician

About the role

Now hiring Part-Time Make Ready Technicians at Idylwood Apartments!

Responsibilities

• Prepares apartment homes for new residents
• Handles a variety of tasks including drywall repair, touch-up painting, plumbing and basic electrical repairs, apartment punch work, trash-outs, grounds support, and general carpentry
• Tests locks and key sets
• Maintains grounds and common areas including trash pickup, sweeping sidewalks and breezeways, etc.
• Assists Maintenance Technicians, Porters, and Housekeeping as needed
• Assists in property inspections and apartment walks
• May occasionally assist nearby sister properties as needed

Requirements

• Active and valid driver’s license and personal vehicle
• Experience with apartment turns, drywall, plumbing, and general maintenance preferred
• HVAC/EPA/CFC Certification preferred, but not required

• Passion for maintaining quality apartment homes and delivering excellent service to residents

Pay

• Base Pay: $23.00 –$25.00 /hr
• Up to 20% Rent Discount

Schedule

• Part-Time — 20 hours per week
• Monday – Friday schedule preferred
• No on-call participation required for this position
• Schedule subject to change based on business needs
