Responsibilities
- Cultivates and stewards an active portfolio of 75-125 prospective and current donors through best practice development techniques.
- Oversees and executes a broad development strategy for a major strategic service line of Piedmont Healthcare.
- Develops and implements measurable activities to accomplish development goals including individual donor cultivation and asks as well as foundation grant requests.
- Establishes and maintains effective relationships within Piedmont Healthcare.
- Maintains knowledge of current events, healthcare trends and fundraising trends within the Piedmont system and healthcare in general.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from a recognized college or university in communications, marketing, development, business, or a closely related field.
- 5 years of responsible professional work experience in development, marketing, communications or a closely related field, with 3 years of development-related activities.
- Demonstrated results in initiating relationships, cultivating interests and securing support and participation.
- Experience with a donor database system.
