Major Gift Officer

About the role

The Major Gift Officer is responsible for designing and executing the organization's major and individual giving program, managing relationships with existing donors and prospects, and qualifying new ones. They will secure gifts targeting $250,000 annually, create and implement moves management plans, and lead direct solicitations, including supporting board and staff efforts. The role involves managing donor databases, tracking progress, and planning fundraising campaigns and private events.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree
• 2-5 years of fundraising experience in major donor solicitations
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
