Major Donor Relationship Manager - Gulf Coast

We are seeking a passionate, relational, and results-driven Major Donor Relationship Manager to help fuel this mission by cultivating transformational partnerships with generous supporters. Responsibilities
- Inspire and generate $2M+ in annual major gift support
- Personally steward a portfolio of 100–200 major donors contributing $10,000+
- Build deep, trust-based relationships that help donors feel known, valued, and connected
- Present compelling opportunities including annual, multi-year, legacy, and asset-based giving
- Share powerful stories of impact that demonstrate how generosity transforms lives
- Identify and cultivate new major donor prospects aligned with our mission
- Design personalized engagement strategies for each donor
- Represent Mercy Chefs with passion, professionalism, and integrity
- Travel up to 50% to meet donors in their communities and witness our mission firsthand
You will work closely with a collaborative Development team, leveraging best-in-class fundraising practices and CRM tools to steward relationships with excellence.
Requirements
- 3+ years of fundraising or development experience (major gifts preferred)
- A proven track record of meeting or exceeding ambitious goals
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Experience managing donor portfolios and CRM systems
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- A high degree of professionalism and discretion
- Comfort engaging in faith-based conversations when appropriate
