About the role
As a Major Case Unit Claim Adjuster, you will investigate the company’s highest level, complex claims, with a focus on Florida construction defect claims. You will need expertise in coverage analysis, jurisdictional diversity issues, litigation management, and extra expense work on significant and unique issues.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality, cost efficient, and timely investigation of complex claims.
- Develop litigation/file disposition strategy.
- Attend mediations, settlement conferences, and trials.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have experience handling Florida construction defect claims. Expertise in areas such as coverage analysis, jurisdictional diversity issues, litigation management, and extra expense work on significant and unique issues is required.
Qualifications
This role is hybrid, allowing you to work from our Sarasota FL office or one of our regional/field locations (Lawrenceville, GA; Lake Mary, FL; Carmel, IN; Richmond, VA and Richardson, TX), or remotely within FCCI territory.
Skills
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously are essential. Familiarity with insurance law and construction defect claims is preferred.
