Key Responsibilities
- Drive new, expansion and renewal opportunities across all accounts
- Acquire new strategic logos while farming and expanding existing accounts
- Build executive relationships and secure senior-level access
- Develop and execute major account plans with multi-year view
- Lead complex, multi-stakeholder deal orchestration
- Lead contract and pricing negotiations
- Prioritize effectively across a large book of business
- Use Check Point tools to manage accounts, pipelines and forecast
- Coordinate a virtual account team (specialists, SE, etc)
Qualifications
- 5+ years of direct sales experience in enterprise technology, preferably in cybersecurity, SaaS, networking, or infrastructure
- Proven success selling into State, Local Government, and/or Education accounts
- Strong understanding of State of Florida procurement, budgeting cycles, and funding mechanisms
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles and strategic accounts
- Self-starter with excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to travel regionally as needed (estimated 50%)
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Existing relationships within Florida state agencies and Higher Education Institutions
- Experience working with or through public sector channels and distributors
- Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and compliance requirements in SLED
- Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM
Pay
$130,000-$180,000 base wage range. In addition to base compensation, certain roles are eligible for additional compensation, including an annual bonus or sales incentive based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee's role. These allocations are based on individual performance.
