Duties and Responsibilities
- Design and develop solution architecture across applications or product suites within the organization
- Enable clients to successfully meet defined project objectives
- Lead solution design for product implementation initiatives
- Facilitate and lead client requirement-gathering sessions
- Support project execution from both solution and technology perspectives
- Prepare and review effort estimations
- Contribute to presales activities and solution proposals
- Support quality control (QC) and ensure adherence to delivery standards
Essential Skills
- Strong domain expertise in Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance across North America, India, Asia-Pacific, and the UK
- Experience with Majesco components such as ICD (Insurance Content Designer) and ICM (Insurance Configuration Manager)
- Proficiency in UML-based analysis and design using tools such as Rational Rose, Together, or similar
- Experience in configuring business rules and workflow engines
- Strong design and development experience using object-oriented programming, preferably within the Java technology stack
- Expertise in both high-level and low-level solution design
- Proven experience conducting requirements workshops and understanding customer business processes
- Able to apply frameworks for designing and reviewing both functional and non-functional requirements
- Experience leading teams of software engineers in implementing solution architecture
- Strong knowledge of database systems with a clear understanding of RDBMS concepts
