Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s degree in urban planning, landscape architecture, forestry/horticulture or civil engineering fields plus two years professional experience planning public improvement projects which included design and construction management, monitoring project budgets and construction contracts.
- Must be able to read and understand construction plans to ensure compliance with Federal, State and City regulations and provide technical expertise during construction.
- Effective oral and written communication skills required to maintain relationships with contractors, community groups and citizens.
- MSOffice (or similar software) skills plus working knowledge of AutoCad/GIS are required.
- Must have valid driver’s license and good driving record.
- Licensure/Certification in above fields and experience planning major park projects are a plus.
- A Bachelor’s degree in specified fields plus four years of the above defined experience will qualify.
