About the role
The City of Hapeville is seeking a Maintenance Worker to perform unskilled, manual work functions associated with construction, maintenance, landscaping, and grounds keeping of City streets/roads, drainage systems, parks, landscape and playing fields, and other public facilities.
Responsibilities
- Perform unskilled, manual work functions associated with construction, maintenance, landscaping, and grounds keeping of City streets/roads, drainage systems, parks, landscape and playing fields, and other public facilities.
- Heavy landscaping experience and some previous work experience in street and/or facility maintenance, or related field; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.
- Must possess and maintain a valid Georgia Driver's License.
Requirements
- Must be willing to submit to a drug screen, criminal background check and motor vehicle review.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications include heavy landscaping experience and some previous work experience in street and/or facility maintenance, or related field; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job. Must possess and maintain a valid Georgia Driver's License.
