Responsibilities

  • Clean and disinfect restrooms: sinks, countertops, toilets, mirrors, floors; replenish supplies; polish metal fixtures and fittings.
  • Maintain floors: sweep, mop, vacuum, scrub, wax, and polish using appropriate equipment.
  • Clean and disinfect kitchen areas: sinks, countertops, tables, chairs, refrigerators.
  • Dust furniture, equipment, and partitions in classrooms and office spaces.
  • Empty wastebaskets and recyclables; transport to disposal area.
  • Assist with snow removal during early morning hours when required.
  • Clean rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture using vacuum cleaners.
  • Wash walls, woodwork, windows, door panels, partitions, and equipment; use ladders as needed.
  • Operate and maintain power equipment and hand tools: buffers, auto scrubbers, extractors, high-pressure washers, high-speed buffers, vacuums, brooms, mops, and squeegees.
  • Be on call for emergencies.

Requirements

  • Physically able to operate heavy machinery, lift heavy objects, and stand for long periods.
  • Previous relevant experience.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
