Maintenance Worker-2
Essential Functions
Performs routine to moderately complex maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, fixing leaky faucets, and repairing damaged walls or floors.
Assists with the installation, repair, and maintenance of hospital equipment and systems.
Responds to emergency maintenance requests and provides immediate assistance to resolve the issue.
Works independently or under the supervision of a facilities management leader.

Qualifications
- Experience as a maintenance generalist or handyman is required.
- Demonstrated abilities of the skills listed above.
- Willingness to work hard and to learn.
- Some experience working in a healthcare setting.
- A valid drivers license may be required for this position.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment by following established safety procedures and protocols.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions.

- Experience working in a healthcare environment.
Physical Requirements
- Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, labels, monitors, identify equipment and supplies, and be able to assess customer needs.
- Frequent interactions with customers that require employee to communicate as well as understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately.
- Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy.
- Includes frequent computer, phone, and cable set-up and use.
- Expected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transport, pull, and push equipment.
- Work on hands and knees and bend to set-up, troubleshoot, lift, and carry supplies and equipment.
- Typically includes items of varying weights, up to and including heavy items.
- For roles requiring driving: Expected to drive a vehicle which requires sitting, seeing and reading signs, traffic signals, and other vehicles.
- Bending, lifting, stooping, crawling, laying, sitting, walking, climbing.
- Use of hand and power tools, proper use of hearing and eye protection.
- Exposure to extreme temperatures in nature, work in noisy or constricted spaces, exposure to odors and smells.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
