Requirements
- 1+ year experience as a general contractor, with knowledge across multiple trades including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, locksmithing, painting, and snow removal.
- Valid NYS license.
- Ability to lift 75lbs.
- A High School Diploma or GED.
Qualifications
- Basic skills and understanding of electrical, carpentry, plumbing, painting, and landscaping.
Skills
- Supports Residential Program in creating a safe and comfortable living space.
- Completes work tasks as assigned in various trades across Suffolk County.
- Assists with overall upkeep of grounds.
- Updates and closes out work orders through smart phone technology.
- Preforms tasks as needed to maintain a safe environment for staff and participants and visitors.
