Maintenance Worker

About the role

The Maintenance Worker will perform quality maintenance work in residential facilities, offices and external infrastructure of the buildings. Duties may include:

• Installing, troubleshooting, repair and maintaining facility equipment according to local and fire and safety facility requirements.
• Performing minor plumbing, painting, carpentry/masonry work, replacing windows, ordering parts, supplies and securing township permits as needed.
• Hanging doors/doorframes, window equipment from suppliers and providing estimates and repair cost.

Responsibilities

• Incidental seasonal tasks such as: minor shoveling, raking leaves, etc.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license
• High School Diploma/Equivalent (GED)
• 1-5 years of maintenance/building work experience
