Maintenance Worker

About the role

Columbia Cottage in Collegeville, PA is looking to hire a full-time Maintenance Worker to refresh rooms upon turnover and perform general building maintenance at our assisted living community.

Responsibilities

• Address general maintenance issues across plumbing, electrical, HVVAC, and flooring
• Prioritize tasks using judgment and time management skills
• Redo rooms after resident turnover: patch walls, apply fresh paint, replace carpet, and perform other refresh tasks
• Respond to urgent repair calls with a commitment to resident welfare and comfort
• Fulfill on-call responsibilities as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Generalized knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and flooring
• Driver’s license
• One or more years of maintenance experience preferred

Schedule

• Full-time; day shift (40 hours weekly)
• On-call responsibilities required; each call-in pays a 2-hour minimum
