Maintenance Worker

Safety-sensitive position located in Wallis.

About the role

The purpose of this position is to repair and maintain grounds and facilities as part of a team for the Brazos River Authority (BRA). This includes monitoring facilities for cleanliness, providing grounds maintenance, preserving road conditions, repairing and maintaining structures, buildings, and fences, and assisting with new construction projects on BRA property.

Responsibilities

• Landscaping, mowing, and trimming trees
• Repairing and replacing pipes
• Providing general maintenance services as needed
• Serving as backup convenience station operator
• Any other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum one year of experience or equivalent combination of education
• Valid Texas Class C Driver’s License and good driving record
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred: Class B Driver’s License

Pay

Starting salary range: $19.80 to $25.24 per hour. This is a non-exempt position.
