Maintenance Worker

About the role
The Maintenance Worker is responsible for inspecting different equipment, performing basic repairs, and carrying out preventative maintenance when required. This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position with a Monday–Friday schedule.
Responsibilities
- Conducts routine inspections of premises and equipment.
- Performs preventative maintenance.
- Handles basic repairs and maintenance.
- Oversees contractors when professional repairs are necessary.
- Diagnoses mechanical issues and corrects them.
- Repairs machines, equipment, or structures as necessary.
Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D is required.
- Proven maintenance experience.
- Skilled in the use of hand and power tools.
- Ability to take apart machines, equipment, or devices to remove and replace defective parts.
- Ability to check blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs as necessary.
- Ability to use common tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches.
- Experience with precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devices.
- Experience performing routine maintenance.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
- Ability to maintain focus while working individually.
