Maintenance Worker

Astoria in Omaha, NE, is an Agemark Senior Living Community recognized by FORTUNE as a Best Place to Work in Aging Services. We are seeking a Full-Time Maintenance Worker who will take pride in ensuring our community is safe, comfortable, and welcoming for all residents, families, and staff.
Responsibilities
- Handle daily maintenance requests, repairs, and assist with emergencies.
- Work with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, boilers, and more to keep systems running smoothly.
- Prepare rooms for new residents and ensure each space is ready for move-ins.
- Assist with inspections, work with contractors, and follow building codes and safety standards.
- Lend a hand with residents by helping with outings, appointments, and providing a friendly, helpful presence in the community.
- Maintain cleanliness, follow safety protocols, and respond with a positive attitude.
Requirements
- Maintenance or repair experience in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or related fields.
- Able to solve problems and enjoy variety in daily tasks.
- Willing to interact with seniors and staff, and flexible to help with occasional weekend or evening needs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- First aid/CPR certification preferred.
Skills
- Technical skills in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and related areas.
- Problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work schedules.

Pay
Daily pay is available with access to funds when needed, and a 401(k) with a 50% company match is offered.
