About This Role
Cheyenne's Early Learning Center in Bridgeport, CT is hiring a Maintenance Worker to support daily operations at an early childhood education center. This position offers $20 – $30/Hr and requires relevant professional experience.
What You'll Do
- Perform general maintenance repairs, including carpentry, floor repairs, minor plumbing and electrical work, painting and plaster repairs, minor glazing, light bulb and fluorescent tube replacement, and other related tasks.
- Assist the building maintenance staff with physical labor and emergency repairs, such as snow removal and equipment cleaning.
- Provide written reports to the Owner/Director on building activities and deficiencies, recommending corrective action where necessary.
Requirements
- 3+ years general maintenance experience
- High school or equivalent
