Maintenance Worker - 2nd Shift - Offering $2,500 Sign on Bonus!

Our Evansville, IN, location is part of our Coatings division, and creates various breading, batter, and coating blends for Kerry brands and customers.

About the role

As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll support plant operations by troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment while helping lead the team when needed.

• Support shift maintenance operations
• Lead and train maintenance team members
• Troubleshoot and repair plant equipment
• Perform electrical, controls, and PLC work
• Complete PMs and work orders
• Fabricate, weld, and modify equipment
• Maintain safety, quality, and food safety standards

Requirements

• 2-year degree in Industrial Technology or Advanced Manufacturing (preferred)
• 5+ years of maintenance experience
• Food manufacturing experience preferred

Skills

• Advanced mechanical repair and general welding
• Strong electrical and controls troubleshooting skills
• PLC troubleshooting and programming experience
• Ability to work with low-voltage DC and 120/240/480V AC systems
• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and basic computer systems
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively
• Strong problem-solving skills with a logical, solutions-driven approach
• Comfortable working closely with production teams
• Willingness to step into a leadership role when needed

Pay

$28.45 per hour, plus a $2,500 sign-on bonus ($250 after 2 weeks with no attendance issues, and $2,250 after 120 days).

Schedule

2nd Shift, Monday - Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM, with possible daily overtime and weekend overtime.
