Maintenance Worker - 1st Shift - Offering $2,500 Sign on Bonus!

About the role
As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll support plant operations by troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment while helping lead the team when needed.
- Support shift maintenance operations
- Lead and train maintenance team members
- Troubleshoot and repair plant equipment
- Perform electrical, controls, and PLC work
- Complete PMs and work orders
- Fabricate, weld, and modify equipment
- Maintain safety, quality, and food safety standards
Requirements
- 2-year degree in Industrial Technology or Advanced Manufacturing (preferred)
- 5+ years of maintenance experience
- Food manufacturing experience preferred
Skills
- Advanced mechanical repair and general welding
- Strong electrical and controls troubleshooting skills
- PLC troubleshooting and programming experience
- Ability to work with low-voltage DC and 120/240/480V AC systems
- Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and basic computer systems
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively
- Strong problem-solving skills with a logical, solutions-driven approach
- Comfortable working closely with production teams
- Willingness to step into a leadership role when needed
Schedule
1st Shift, Monday - Friday 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, possible daily overtime and weekend overtime.
Pay
The pay rate for this position is $28.45 per hour. Offering a $2,500 sign-on bonus: $250 after 2 weeks with no attendance issues, and $2,250 after 120 days.
