Maintenance Work Order Coordinator

About the role

Real Property Management Principles is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to provide a great resident experience by keeping properties looking great and working well. This role involves coordinating maintenance efforts internally and externally with vendors, ensuring properties shine. The focus is on building relationships, not just managing "tenants and toilets."

Responsibilities

• Coordinate maintenance work including general maintenance; light electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting; light groundskeeping; light appliance installation and maintenance; trash and large object disposal; pool maintenance; and more
• Provide frontline customer service with a professional appearance and positive interactions with residents
• Improve properties through quality work and customer service, helping residents love where they live and providing property owners with maintenance insights
• Handle work orders and maintenance requests efficiently, punctually, and respectfully

Requirements

• 2 years of experience in maintenance and/or a trade craft (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, masonry, etc.)
• Valid driver's license
• Digital literacy and ability to use a smartphone

Qualifications

• Love of a job well done and enjoyment of maintenance work
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Patience with customers and team members; ability to explain technical concepts in understandable terms
• Punctuality and honesty
• Familiarity with maintenance and/or trade work (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc.) is a plus

Pay

$18–23 per hour, depending on experience.
