Job Summary
Responsibilities
- Fuel every piece of delivery equipment daily.
- Check all fluid levels of power equipment daily.
- Aid the fleet shop when needed.
- Collaborate with fleet shop and night warehouse management to prepare equipment for use.
- Follow FSQA schedule to wash trailers.
- Keep the parking lot clean and debris-free.
- Support the night truck spotters in organizing the truck yard.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 1-3 months related experience and/or training.
- Ability to read, understand, and write simple instructions and memos.
- Effectively communicate in one-on-one and small group settings.
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Knowledge of driving and backing tractor-trailers and straight trucks.
Physical Demands
- Regularly stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
- Frequently climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Sit occasionally.
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
