Job Summary

At Autumn Lake Healthcare at Glen Burnie, we are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance/Transportation Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility and providing exceptional support to our residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Transportation: Safely transport residents to and from appointments, activities, and other areas of the facility, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout their journeys.
• Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including light repairs, cleaning, and organization of facilities and equipment, to maintain a clean and safe environment for our residents and staff.
• Auxiliary Care: Provide Assisted Care, as needed, to support our residents in daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Teamwork: Collaborate with other department staff to ensure seamless communication and coordination of tasks, providing exceptional support to our residents and families.

Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: Previous experience in maintenance, transportation, or a similar field preferred.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to lift 50 pounds, and proficiency in operating a wheelchair or other mobility devices.
