Maintenance Trainee For SMT

About the role

Valeo Sistemas Electronicos S. de R.L de C.V. (Rio Bravo) is one of the sites manufacturing a wide range of products within the group. We design ultrasonic sensors, radar, and cameras used in conjunction with applications to detect obstacles around vehicles. Located at the border between Mexico and the United States, we are a leader in the market for assistance systems and parking.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new technologies for mobility solutions
• Work on projects related to intuitive driving and reducing CO2 emissions
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to innovate and improve existing systems
• Participate in testing and maintenance activities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• Experience in automotive engineering or similar industry
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• External applicants must have completed their studies and be eligible for employment
• Interns should be enrolled in a relevant academic program

Skills

• Knowledge of automotive engineering principles
• Experience with electrical and mechanical systems
• Proficiency in CAD software
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
